Each month I join an update call with Hays Travel and it’s always lovely to catch up with other franchisees, share ideas and learn from each other.

I was absolutely thrilled on this month’s call to learn that The Travel Nuts is currently ranked No. 3 for cruise sales across Hays Travel franchisees (100+) this financial year! 🥳

To achieve this just 14 months after starting my travel business makes me incredibly proud. Thank you to everyone who has booked a cruise with me 🤩

It’s no secret that I love cruising 🚢. It’s such a fantastic way to travel — unpack once, settle into your cabin, and then wake up in a new destination almost every day.

For example, I booked a cruise this week where my clients will visit six different Caribbean islands in one trip. It’s like having a series of “taster sessions” of different destinations —and often people discover a favourite place they’d love to return to and explore more in the future.

Cruising is fantastic value for money. If you took individual holidays to those different islands, the cost of flights, hotels, and transfers would add up to way more than the cost of a cruise. On a cruise, so much is included — great cabins and full board dining at fabulous restaurants.

And then there’s the entertainment! From spectacular Broadway-style shows to live music in the piano bar, comedy shows, quiz nights, bingo, and so much more — there’s always something happening on board.

Cruising isn’t just for retirees anymore — it’s becoming one of the most exciting and versatile ways to explore the world. The 2025 ABTA Travel Trends Report shows cruising is more popular than ever — especially with younger travellers and families! 🙌
